Cahors and the LOT area

The Lot
The Lot draws its character from the causses cut by the valleys of the Lot, the Dordogne and the Célé. The region is rich in beautiful sites and villages such as Rocamadour, Cahors, Figeac and Saint-Cirq-Lapopie. Man and nature have left their mark in the Pech Merle cave and the Gouffre de Padirac. Whether by foot or by bike, the naturalness and authenticity of the Lot are revealed.
Cahors nowadays
Surrounded by steep hills and arid heights of the causses, you can discover the Valentré Bridge, a UNESCO heritage monument.
Cahors is a major tourist attraction in the department, famous for its vineyards and its gastronomy.
This typical southern town has been awarded with the "Towns of Art and History" label.
Old Cahors
A medieval town with a history that goes back more than 2 000 years.
